New Dawg in Da House

I have to admit. It was a hasty decision. Found him in the paper and BAM. But what's one more poodle? They're practically nothing. Mallory wanted to name him Cutie (no), Fluffy (no), and Buttercup (no!). So when she said "Jack," I crinkled my nose, but agreed. Doesn't look like a Jack to me, but I figured I would just change it later. I always think I come up with good animal names, so I wanted to pick. Me! Ok, ok, Brady isn't the most masculine of names for our other one, but look at him. It all rather fits. Anyway, Mallory and Madeline fondly refer to the new puppy as "Jack-Jack," and I realized the longer I remain in stony silence and just whistle to him or pat my thigh, he's not learning who he IS or who the HECK wants him to JUST COME HERE!!! So... I concede. Jack-Jack.

Whatever.

As you can see, Brady took to the new puppy right away...

But Brady's superior manliness like, totally could never be superseded...

I see you found us! Oh my heck. Is Jack cute or what. It makes me even more sad we have a huge golden retreiver instead of poodle. Oh well...

Clearly, the Mighty Brady rules this roost.

yes, Brady is all MAN. And btw, thanks for letting us borrow your puppy. What are neighbors for if not for loaning eggs, sugar, dogs occasionally?
